How to mount an ISO image to a server

Sometimes, to install an operating system, launch a recovery environment, or perform diagnostics, it is convenient to connect an ISO image to the server. Once connected, the server will be able to use this image as bootable media, and you will be able to perform the necessary actions directly through the control panel.
Below are step-by-step instructions on how to download the ISO file and mount it on your server through the billing system and virtual machine control panel.

1. Log in to the billing system on the website.
Login information is usually sent to the e-mail you provided when registering your account.

2. Open the list of services.
In the left menu, find the “Products and Services” section and go to the VPS/VDS subsection. All your active virtual servers are displayed here.

3. Select the desired server and go to the control panel.
Find the server you want to connect the ISO to and click the «To Panel» button. After this, you will be redirected to the server control panel.

4. Open the action menu for the virtual machine.
In the “Virtual machines” column, find the line of the desired VM and click on the three dots icon — this is a menu of additional actions.

5. Start ISO connection.
From the drop-down menu, select “Mount ISO image”.

6. Select the ISO download method in the window that opens and download the image.
A window will appear where you need to indicate how you want to add the image. Choose a convenient download option.

7. Check that the image is selected correctly.
If everything is done correctly, the selected file will appear in the “Image to download” section.

8. Start ISO download.
Click the «Upload Image» button. After this, the download will begin, and the progress will be displayed on the screen — you will see how the process is going and at what stage it is.
